Beyond the Keep Kids Fed Act

Why the Food Program is Worth it

Welcome to our resource page dedicated to sharing the value of participating in the Food Program as we navigate together back to Tier II rates.

Starting July 1, 2023, the Keep Kids Fed Act will expire, but that won’t stop providers from receiving financial support for food purchases by participating in the Food Program (CACFP). Benefits of the Food Program:

  • Provide Nutritional Education
  • Support Low-Income Families
  •  Receive Money for Serving Healthy Meals
  • Nourish Healthy Meals for Children

Explore our resources to learn why it’s worth it and join us in this effort.
